Generic and skill specific timers and GW com system
I was in tombs as a monk and I had a 9 seconds aegis on me. There was another monk with Aegis in my team. Few minutes into each battle I was having trouble in coordinating my Aegis with the other monk. I am sure there are many builds that face this problem, ranger spike comes to mind.
I was thinking that it'd be cool to have some generic and skill specific timers in guildwars. Something where I can put in a number say 30 seconds and the timer would be visible to me, in a digital display. Also I should be able to put in a number, representing seconds and click a skill on my current bar to create a timer which shows the skill icon, next to the timer display. Maybe have a max of 3-4 such timers, adjustable through edit interface?
Also there should be an integrated voice over IP client for guildwars. I think the game is large enough now that it needs one. Most people will be willing to pay a small fee for it ($10-15 maybe), and it will help the community a lot. In my opinion they should just add it to Factions and charge for the extra cost.

When the existing Aegis starts flashing, the other monk casts? It's not terribly difficult.

Yes offcourse, its not . But if I have a N/E with X seconds on Wards against Melee and 2 monks with Aegis. I want the wards to come on first and only after that I want Aegis from Monk 1, then wards again, and then Aegis from monk 2, a timer would help. Its not something new, other games have it. I just thought GW could use it too

It would be a serious bandwith hog. Why would they need an integrated one anyways, since there's things like TS, Vent, Skype... Pretty much all the other games work fine with external programs for voice chat, why not GW?

Its going to be an optional activation offcourse , just like TS/Vent. The difference would be that a casual guild/party can enjoy voice com without the hassle of a server, which is the case at the moment.
